A directory is not a ranking.

AtoZ Tax is a directory of U.S. tax preparation and related accounting businesses. Listings bring together publicly available business information to help you find firms and prepare questions before contacting them.

A listing is a starting point for your research. Inclusion, position, ratings, and service labels do not certify a firm's qualifications or guarantee the quality of its work.

What we publish

Our 2,439 firm pages present public business information where available. The amount of information varies by listing:

  1. Public business profiles. Names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, hours, ratings, and review counts come from public business records, including Google Maps. These fields may change after collection.
  2. Service information. Descriptions and service labels summarize available public information. Confirm the services you need directly with the firm.
  3. Credential claims. A CPA, EA, or other label in a listing is not proof of a current individual credential. We do not claim that every listing has been checked against IRS or state licensing records.

What we don't do

  • We do not certify or endorse listed firms, their staff, or their advertised credentials.
  • We do not guarantee fees, availability, current business details, or client outcomes.
  • Contact the firm directly for appointments, quotes, and questions about an engagement.
  • We are not a tax preparer. We do not provide tax advice, prepare returns, represent taxpayers before the IRS, or take responsibility for any engagement you form with a listed firm.

Updates and data limits

Public records can become outdated. We do not promise a fixed refresh schedule or a credential check for each listing. Confirm addresses, contact details, hours, availability, and prices with the firm before visiting or engaging it.

Before you engage Ask for the individual preparer's name, PTIN, and claimed credentials. The IRS guidance on choosing a tax professional explains credential checks. Its public directory covers credentialed preparers and certain program participants, not every PTIN holder. Confirm CPA licenses with the relevant state board of accountancy and EA status with the IRS.

How to read a listing

Use descriptions to identify questions to ask, rather than as professional advice. Public ratings reflect review activity, not a licensing decision. A missing field means the directory does not provide that information; it does not establish whether a firm offers a service.

Corrections and removal requests

To report an error or request removal, use the contact page. Include the listing URL, the fields in question, and a link to supporting public information. We do not promise a response or update within a fixed period.

AtoZ Tax is the directory published at atozlogin.com, focused on U.S. tax preparation businesses. The site does not present its publisher as a licensed tax practice or claim professional tax credentials for its contributors.
