Who this covers

This policy applies to visitors of atozlogin.com (the "Site") operated by AtoZ Tax (the "Publisher," "we," "us"). It does not apply to the websites or practices of the tax preparers listed in our directory — those are operated independently and have their own policies.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the text of your message, and any attachments you send. That's it. We do not require an account to read the site and we do not offer one.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Every request to the Site records an IP address, timestamp, user agent, referrer, and the URL requested. These logs are used to diagnose errors and detect abuse. Logs are retained for 30 days then deleted.
• Analytics cookies. We use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count page views and understand which content is useful. It uses a first-party cookie and does not share data with advertisers or brokers.
• Advertising cookies. Some pages display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to the Site and other sites. Users may opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads or at aboutads.info/choices.

Why we collect it

• To reply to correspondence you initiate.
• To keep the Site online and free of abuse.
• To understand — in aggregate — which directory content is useful.
• To serve contextual advertising that funds the editorial work.

We do not use your data to train machine-learning models, to enrich profiles, or to sell targeted audiences to third parties.

Who we share with

The small set of service providers required to operate the Site — our hosting provider, our CDN, our analytics service, and Google (for advertising). Each processes data under a contract that restricts use to the services we purchase. We do not sell personal data. We do not rent mailing lists. We do not participate in data-broker exchanges.

We disclose information when legally required — valid subpoena, court order, or similar — and will notify the affected person unless prohibited by law.

How long we keep it

• Server logs — 30 days, then deleted.
• Correspondence — retained until the matter is resolved, then deleted unless part of an editorial record (e.g., a documented correction).
• Aggregated analytics — retained indefinitely because it contains no personal data.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we have about you.
• Correct it if it's wrong.
• Delete it.
• Export it in a portable format.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, the EU, and the UK have additional formal rights under their local laws (CCPA/CPRA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA, VCDPA, GDPR, UK-GDPR). We honor requests from anyone regardless of residency.

Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, please email us and we will delete it.

Security

The Site is served only over HTTPS. Correspondence is stored on servers in the United States with disk encryption and access restricted to editorial staff. No online system is perfectly secure; we do not represent that ours is.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we update the "Last updated" date at the top and post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
